Understanding How Nasal Specific Works
The structures within your face contain small air-filled spaces that can become restricted over time. This may occur following injury, long-term sinus concerns, or ongoing inflammation. When normal drainage is affected, it can contribute to pressure, discomfort, and changes in breathing.
The Nasal Specific Technique uses small inflatable balloons, approximately the size of a little finger, which are carefully placed within the nasal passages. These are briefly inflated to help open the spaces and support normal movement and drainage.
This process may help reduce pressure and improve airflow, depending on the individual.
What to Expect During Your Session
Your first visit includes an assessment to determine whether this technique is appropriate for you. If suitable, treatment is carried out using a series of brief, controlled inflations within the nasal passages.
You may feel a short period of pressure lasting a few seconds before it eases. The procedure is typically quick and completed within a short appointment.
Some patients choose to return for additional sessions, depending on their response and care plan.
